Since June 2022 I am in charge of Infrastructure at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A. the Italian National Promotional Institution. As a manager of managers, I am responsible for coordinating the teams dedicated to developing CDP's client base expansion and coverage, deal sourcing and structuring of financing and guarantee transactions towards counterparties operating in the wider infrastructure sector (inter alia, transport, energy, water etc). I am also responsible for coordinating the portfolio management team dedicated to Infrastructure credit exposure..In October 2016 I joined the European Investment Bank with the responsibility of developing and managing financing activities in support of strategic projects in the infrastructure sector, also under the mandate of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (so-called Junker Plan).Since 2006, I have worked at Credit Agricole CIB, holding roles with increasing responsibilities in structured finance and operating in multiple jurisdictions and sectors. I worked as Financial Advisor of companies and investment funds in contexts of acquisition / development of infrastructure projects. I also acted as Lead Arranger, structuring large-scale loans, using innovative financial structures also combining bank loans and Capital Markets instruments.Previously, I worked as a management consultant for private companies and public authorities in the development of organizational projects aimed at maximizing management efficiency.I graduated in Economics of Public Administration and International Institutions at Bocconi University, in Milan, with a thesis on the use of Project Finance in the financing of projects of public interest.
