I hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Structures and Civil Construction from the University of Brasília, Brazil. I also spent time as a visiting scholar at Polytechnique Montréal and the University of Colorado Boulder. My research, which resulted in several conference papers, focused on analyzing concrete dams under seismic actions, considering the effects of structure-reservoir coupling, and on geometrically nonlinear finite element analysis.At MPDFT, I worked as a quantity surveyor and designed plumbing and fire protection systems, including sprinklers, and standpipe and hose systems. Additionally, I gained extensive experience with BIM tools such as Revit MEP, Revit Structure, and Navisworks, as well as with the tendering process.I have a strong interest in computational fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, structural analysis (for buildings, concrete dams, and wind turbine towers), machine learning applications in engineering, particularly in hydropower and renewable energy systems, fire safety engineering, and fire protection systems.
