Build Your Worlds is a collective that creates interactive installations and performances, often in site-specific contexts, working with a combination of professional artists and performers and with a strong community engagement program.Carlos Cortes generated artistic concept, fundraised, recruited and directed artistic team, choreographed dance elements of performance, developed visual elements in collaboration with the other artists and/or with community groups.

CAS will invite the world’s best contemporary Chinese/East Asian sculptors to reflect on the concept of FIVE PEAKS (五岳) inspired by the Five Great Mountains of China and its metaphorical relevance to overseas Chinese/East Asian communities. My role includes managing the smooth progress of the project, reaching out and dealing with international artists and curators, and supervising both the selection progress and and commission delivery. The job includes as well dealing with local authorities , planning applications and other logistical issues, marketing, promotion and launch of the final selected sculpture.This is a 10 months project.
