Extensive experience in H2020 funding programmes (e.g. SME Instrument/Accelerator, FTI, MSCA-ITN, RIA & IA), Eurostars, as well as Danish and Norwegian national funding programmes. Working at Innovayt since 2014, he has been responsible for, or played a key role in the development of 150+ R&D&I projects, including 85+ projects funded (and counting), with different roles: writing, mentoring and/or reviewing applications, and pitch training, representing more than €125 million funding.Background:PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering, with specialization in environmental technologies and process control, with 11 years of experience in researcher, including 7 years as Post-Doc researcher and as Principal Investigator. 25 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, and more than 35 communications in international conferences. Additionally, 5 years of experience as invited assistant professor at the University of Minho, teaching the “Integrated Master in Biological Engineering” and the “Master in Environmental Management”, and previous industry experience in environmental and industrial consultancy at C.P.A.Hobby:Semi-professional photographer with several medals and international awards and more than 40 photos accepted/selected in international photo saloons organized by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and the Photography Society of America (PSA). These halls cover different countries, including Belgium, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, France, Hungary, England, Wales, Portugal, Serbia, Turkey and USA. In the last 3 years, he has presented his work in 25+ individual exhibitions, and in collective exhibitions, books and photo magazines (both at national and international level). He published his first author book in 2017 (“Portraits from Cuba”).
