I consider myself equal parts scientist and policy expert with a decade of experience in remote sensing and carbon cycle science and nearly as many years experience working with public and private carbon market actors. I work with a diverse range of scientists and engineers on problems of calibration and validation, propagation of uncertainty, and machine learning to extract meaningful biophysical information from remotely sensed observations. In addition to my technical work, I retain strong connections across the policy world, including state governments, the World Bank, and various NGOs.
