• Work closely with team members and assist in completing projects by tracking project schedule and quality performance.• Participate in design discussions and pin-ups to develop design concepts through sketches, 3d digital models, diagrams, and other visual formats. • Resolve complex technical and design issues• Maintain a high level of design quality within the project team, including mentoring and coaching junior designers to enhance teamwork.• Lead project coordination, meetings with clients, contractors and other disciplines including interiors, structural, MEP and lighting to incorporate information into design, project requirements and documents as needed. • Consult with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferences.

• Work closely with the firm director and lead the team to ensure the project integrity.• Direct responsibility for the project design translating client requirements to design criteria from pre-design phase through design development.• Lead project coordination, meetings with clients, consultants and contractors assignments and agreements, and communication with stakeholders.• Responsible for the project management, schedules and project coordination with all stakeholders for design and technical solutions, project requirements and needed documents.• Develop the conceptual design through sketches, 3d digital models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to express the design intent and communicate to project team, client, and building user groups.• Coordinate and assist in preparation of drawings in all design phases.• Anticipate, recognize and identify critical project issues/problems, setting goals and prioritizing their solution.• Research of social, artistic and technical solutions for the project concept development.

• Technical input, coordination and support through the design development.• Prepare and communicate budgets, schedules, and deliverables of specific project issues for client and internal teams.• Manage documentation with structural, MEP, lighting, and other consultants.• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and consultant agreements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in exhaustive research, brainstorm and pin-ups to develop design concepts.• Participate in design reviews contributing ideas to improve project outcomes.• Assist in researching building codes, zoning ordinances, and other regulatory requirements, as well as field reviews, measuring and documenting existing conditions.• Support in preparing and developing project presentations, schedules, graphic material, 3d physical and digital models, hand bookbinding and more material.• Craft and develop construction documents including plans, elevations, sections and details.• Support project teams in all design phases, from pre-design through construction docs.• Assist in coordination and communication with consultants and contractors.• Attend project and client meetings and assist with meeting minutes.

• Develop an action plan and schedule to execute the project on time and on budget by effectively managing subcontractor activities and material resources.• Maximize site productivity by managing and coordinating the work performance, quality and efficiency of labourers and subcontractors.• Liaise effectively and maintain regular communication with the architect, client, consultants and engineers.• Create a safe work environment by implementing Health & Safety guidelines on site and ensuring compliance.• Oversee project close out activities and site cleanup.
