Lead the activities related to the material planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and distribution functions for the Puerto Rico Aftermarket Hub for spares and R&O operations within Honeywell AERO.

Responsible for identifying freight cost recovery opportunities based of supplier use of Premium Shipping Methods.Optimize transportation mode usage(Surface and Air) and related costs.Lead and support projects to be executed at 3PLs & DCs such as process optimization and new technology introduction.Provide guidance and mentorship to buyers and site materials personnel related to x-Carrier/Process weaver usage, carrier selection and routing guides optimization.Project lead for 3PLs Quarterly Business Reviews. Monitor 3PLs performance, productivity and cost reduction initiatives and their adherence/compliance of Honeywell policies.Collaborate with warehousing and transportation 3PL partners and internal cross functional groups; sharing information and implementing best practices.Support site materials team and corporate procurement in the creation/modification of 3PLs SOW’s.

Responsible for managing from inception to conclusion all tasks related to pursuing claims against suppliers related to supplier nonperformance, notably late delivery and poor quality. Lead the cross-functional efforts to capture all costs (internal and external) related to supplier nonperformance, including site-related labor costs, expedited freight, costs related to establishing root cause, customer penalties.Conduct program reviews, and ensures process adherence (IPDS); particularly for Entry Into Service.Working closely with the Sourcing & Procurement and customer-facing program personnel who are responsible for interacting with the supplier to clearly identify the supplier’s performance obligations, the supplier’s performance history, and the chain of communications with the supplier regarding its performance history.

-Responsible for leading a negotiations team from a regional site. Key duties include building team objectives, motivating team members, time tracking, performance tracking, and HPD. -Develops supplier negotiating strategies and guidance and provides direction to Negotiation Specialists. Provides mentorship in negotiation strategies and industry trends to Negotiation Specialists. - Incorporates the strategic contract planning, business intelligence, data gathering and negotiation strategy development for strategic suppliers for HON Aero on a global basis to deliver continuous productivity improvement. -Develops negotiating strategy which analyzes suppliers' strengths, weaknesses, key negotiable, suppliers' positions regarding raw material, labor, macro-economic forces, organizational changes, mergers and acquisitions, and currency or political risk. - Incorporates supplier trends, market intelligence, financial analyst reports and supply risks into negotiations. Makes key decisions on best strategies and tradeoffs for each supplier negotiation engagement. -Conducts Stakeholder Reviews and obtains buy-in and approval for all negotiation strategies and contract agreements in full collaboration with Aero stakeholders. -Serves as negotiation leader (first chair) in assigned supplier contract negotiations to meet or exceed AOP objectives for quality, cost, delivery, lead-time and service. -Drives continuous working capital improvements through increases in payment term (days,) and executing vendor managed inventory (VMI) agreements and/or related programs to lower overall costs to HON Aero and its customers. --Works closely with regional leadership, in-country leadership, ALT members, marketing and product management, transition teams, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Global Strategy & Integration, Engineering, and key suppliers to ensure IPDS transition objectives are met.

Enable Site Delivery (OTTR) and Inventory performance through SIOP and Inventory Management projects.-Manage site SIOP process execution and integrate data into the AEOC Operation Center Rollup.-Execute standard SIOP and Inventory management processes across the Material Management organization.-Mature SIOP processes within the OEM planning organization.-Partner with global planning inventory leaders to drive improved inventory performance.-Identify root cause for inventory performance issues. Present site inventory profile to regional Materials Management leadership.-Responsible for performance to key measurement indices: SIOP metrics compliance, Inventory goals, MPS Compliance, Lights On project targets.-Maintain SIOP scorecard and metrics for the Site.-Drive the supply / demand alignment process, ensuring the factory capacity will support the MPS and driving gap closure activities as appropriate.-Develop and Maintain Supply Volatility Metrics. Participate on SIOP and Red Team Meetings with the Electrical Suppliers.-Create and manage cross-functional teams in order to complete root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions where projected results are below plan.-Work on other related projects as assigned, standardization of production and business operations (inventory, quality, safety, and cost).-Materials Management Counterfeit Parts Project Leader-Train and monitor proper compliance of Inventory Management of Counterfeit Parts-Develop Incoming Inspection procedures for Broker Buy material-Work with the sites and inspection labs for parts allocation priorities based on customer demand and forecast.

-Supervise the loading and offloading of two MD-10, one Airbus and Feeders aircrafts to ensure that safe and efficient operations exist on the ramp- Selects, trains, develop and motivate 20 hourly employees, including ramp agents, handler’s etc. Responsible for the handling of ground support equipment use to load and offload the aircraft. Assist in the administration of an annual operating budget of $1.0MM-$4.0MM.- Ensures proper aircraft servicing and maintenance is provided; schedules crews to accommodate ramp operation needs.- Keeps abreast of airport policies and procedures relative to the ramp operation; and maintains close working relationship with airport management.- Provides auxiliary personnel with information regarding benefits, wage and salary policies, and personnel and operating policies/procedures. -Champion of AOD internal audit team.-Responsible for Quality Assurance of all Ramp Process. Develop Quality Actions Plans and metrics to measure performance, service and compliance.-Work with AOD, TSA and FAA internal audits.-Create Standard Operating Procedures for Internal and External Customers.-Customer Focal Point for Quality and Service Compliance.-Manage BQN Inbound and Outbound operations.-Manage International Clearance Agents in order to comply with all customs international and domestic regulations for Inbound and Outbound freight movement.-Manage Heavyweight and Express on road operations.-Manage Outbound Freight Sort Operations-Work directly with Dispatch Department to coordinate daily routes deliveries and pick- ups.
