As Digital Director, I was responsible for strategic areas such as Information Technology, Management and Strategy, E-commerce, New Business, and the Shared Services Center (CSC). My leadership focused on implementing a profitability-oriented culture across all technology and innovation projects. I spearheaded several initiatives to enhance the data pipeline, enabling structured and secure access to information across the organization, including stores and headquarters.In my role in e-commerce, I dealt with financial performance issues in the business unit and enhanced the platform's technological architecture to support operational teams in providing value. I also redesigned the customer journey for our mobile channel, which led to the creation of a new loyalty program app, establishing it as one of the company's leading digital sales and engagement channels. Additionally, I spearheaded the overhaul of the company's chatbot within the WhatsApp channel.At the Shared Services Center, I introduced a systemic and process-driven vision, consolidating concepts such as Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) reporting and operational efficiency metrics, facilitating automation prioritization through robotics. I mapped vital business processes, supporting operational decision-making for the company's evolution.Additionally, I led the creation of the New Business department, working closely with the president. In this role, I spearheaded innovative initiatives to enhance customer experience and develop new revenue streams. Under my leadership, we introduced multiple new business lines, including retail media, wholesale sales, food service, food halls, plant shops, venture builders, and corporate venture capital, diversifying and expanding the group's revenue base.

The St. Marche Group operates under the St. Marche brand, Empório Santa Maria, and, until 2021, Eataly. The company prioritizes proximity, convenience, product quality, and impeccable customer service, positioning St. Marche as a premium and exclusive supermarket.During my tenure at Grupo St Marche, I took on the role of Head of Technology for the E-commerce business unit. Under my leadership, we successfully implemented the entire technological infrastructure necessary to launch and operate the company's digital area. It included developing and launching the new website, the new mobile app for the loyalty program, a WhatsApp-integrated chatbot, and advanced order and product separation management systems. Additionally, I led the integration of complementary systems such as routing, catalog management, and promotions for digital channels.After a year in e-commerce, I was promoted to Director of Technology for the entire group, with the mission to enhance operational efficiency and enrich the experience of our internal and external customers. In this role, I led the implementation of management strategies and prioritization of major corporate projects, highlighting the creation of an information security master plan, the technological separation of Eataly Brasil, the migration of the SAP system to a more robust cloud solution, the update of point-of-sale (POS) systems, the redefinition of the company's data pipeline, and the introduction of essential tools to improve the governance of technology services (ITSM).

Skore was a knowledge automation platform that helped teams increase their collective knowledge and strengthen their culture. Users could combine web content and custom-produced materials to create engaging learning experiences, from simple URL sharing to comprehensive Knowledge Management and Training programs. We developed the platform to provide a seamless and uncomplicated learning experience that feels as natural as consuming ordinary web content.I led the technology and product teams in developing an innovative knowledge management platform designed to revolutionize how information is managed and utilized in large enterprises. This platform was built with a robust and scalable architecture based on Google and Amazon, using an advanced microservices system integrated with IBM Watson. Our system processed massive volumes of data, capturing and analyzing links shared in public channels of our clients' communication platforms.Additionally, I implemented a set of intelligent chatbots essential for training and improving the sales teams of large retailers in Brazil, significantly enhancing training effectiveness and experience. This solution not only elevated the operational efficiency of our clients but also positioned them at the forefront of innovation in intellectual capital management.

Mercado Fresh was a pioneering platform in Brazil that allowed users to purchase products from their favorite stores without leaving home, bringing the same shopping experience from a physical store to the digital world. It was situated in the Brazilian market, acting as an intermediary between end customers and retailers. The platform oversaw the entire network of retail partners, allowing users to purchase from markets, pet shops, organic stores, butcher shops, grocery stores, beverage shops, and more, with the convenience of home delivery. The startup's technology created a personalized virtual store for each customer, with virtual shelves of purchased products and new suggestions.As the technical co-founder, I was crucial in defining and implementing the company's technological vision, ensuring constant alignment with business objectives and customer needs. I was involved in technology selection, cloud system development, and leading a technology team to foster innovation and technical excellence. I managed technical risks, particularly data security, and planned to scale the technological infrastructure to support the startup's growth.

In 2012, I co-founded Medicinia, a revolutionary platform that transformed the interaction between doctors and patients at that time. As pioneers in digitalizing access to medical knowledge, we developed advanced technology that allowed doctors to efficiently and securely access critical information directly on mobile devices. Through a robust communication architecture, this innovative solution facilitated structured communication between validated doctors and their patients, whether in private consultations or large medical centers.As a co-founder and leader of the technology and product teams, I actively participated in defining corporate strategies and sales processes while leading the technological evolution of the platform, including the development of mobile applications, chatbots, and integration with clients' legacy systems, significantly expanding our penetration in significant hospitals in Brazil. I focused my leadership on scaling the startup and ensuring continuous improvement in communication tools and user experience.

As an executive and co-founder of Freeddom, I played a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced mobile payment solutions that innovated the financial and telecommunications markets at the time. Leading teams in architecture, mobile app development, test automation, and enterprise integrations, I supported strategic partnerships with major mobile operators in Brazil, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as with the largest payment gateways in these regions. These collaborations were essential for successfully implementing mobile payment platforms, such as the pioneering Oi Paggo in 2005 in Brazil and SVA solutions for Nigeria's largest bank, UBA (United Bank of Africa).Freeddom was one of the first startups to adopt virtualized server clusters and MySQL databases for critical modules like the authorization system, ensuring high availability and transaction security. I also supported the implementation of agile methodologies, specifically eXtreme Programming, across the company, significantly accelerating the development cycle and improving company efficiency. My leadership fostered technological innovation and positioned Freeddom as a reference in agility and innovation in the fintech landscape at that time.

Paggo, alongside significant names like NTT Docomo (Japan) and M-Pesa (Kenya), was one of the global pioneers in B2C mobile payments. Through our collaboration with Oi, we launched Oi Paggo, quickly connecting over 2 million users and 200,000 merchants, facilitating secure cell-to-cell transactions. My leadership boosted technological development and significantly contributed to the platform's expansion, establishing Paggo as a reference in the mobile payment market.As Development Manager at Paggo, I led a highly skilled development team using agile eXtreme Programming to create an innovative private-label credit card processor for Oi. Under my management, we implemented pioneering technologies, such as JavaSpaces, addressing and surpassing the technical and market challenges of the time, successfully implementing the authorization and billing system quickly. These challenges positioned the company as a leader in that era's emerging mobile payments sector.
