He has herein developed, as the digital communications designer, a FPGA-based digital processing platform which provides coverage solutions for all the major public safety systems in their respective frequency bands.He is responsible for the Software defined radio implementation (NCO, digital down & upconverter, filtering, decimation & interpolation), automatic gain control per channel per time slot, digital fiber DAS and built in spectrum analyzer.The main equipment developed based on this platform are channel selective BDA and Digital Fiber Distributed Antenna System (DAS) using Xilinx Spartan6 LX150T, Artix7 xc7a200t and Artix Ultrascale+ AU25P. These products support European and American public safety systems for VHF and UHF frequency bands up to 40M bandwidth.Nowadays he is developing the fpga firmware required for 5G DAS implementation, includingJESD204 interface with AFE7903 from TI.

He worked as an engineer developer in telecommunications projects. He has expertise in FPGA design and is responsible of the modelling, simulations, implementations and verification in FPGA of digital signal processing schemes. He has actively participated in the development of the flight-model transmitter system of the Microsat project in cooperation with INTA implementing the channel coding and modulation relating to the physical layer of DVB-S (Digital Video Broadcasting - Satellite) and the later in the verification of operation with a commercial DVB-S demodulator. He has herein developed and implemented in FPGA both digital signal processing system (sampling, tuning and filtering) and the digital processing of the signals carried by fiber (optical digital transmission).
