• Engineering management projects of industrial facilities for new plants or its modernization, including technical and economical studies, pricing and scope of works, supporting sales department to the customers, and also for the quality of the projects and services contracted by Siemens,• Managing the necessary resources and strategies to the Engineering department for projects development, controlling and programming multiple projects facing deadlines and operating results pre-established as well as the strategies for new business development,• Responsible for annual growth of 23% on sales in the area of my responsibility,• Always searching for improvements on procedures and systems for a growing team progress,• I ensured customers’ quality and requirements within their projects scope specifications and also managing the project interfaces with related areas,• Managing engineering works (32 people) regarding to the infrastructure areas (multiprofessional teams) for the construction of the new plant of Ford Motor Company at Camaçari/BA (121,590 sqm / 1,424,840 cfm)), including budget revisions and recommendations of improvements, cost reductions in order to minimize the possibility of project deviations for a total scope of US$ 52,46M,• Managing expansion projects to increase the production capacity of Siemens telephone plant at Manaus; the new Petrobras Electrical Substation - Paulínia/SP and Electrical Substations for the new Continental Tires Plant at Camaçari/BA, ...,• I represented and ensured the interests of Siemens, within its principles, along the professional associations, government, suppliers and customers from the areas under my responsibility.

• Responsible for coordinating and put in place the main objectives to work together with Delphi Headquarters/US of "procurement" strategies management in order to improve the procedures and systems to allow a better team performance and also establishing/ensuring the annual plan of cost reduction program,• Technical leadership with specific goals for the improvement of the results in the development and relationship areas with suppliers, in administration and contracts negotiation with a national and international suppliers and also in the new product programs,• Managing the interfaces between the different functional areas to develop a consistent plan regarding to the company's goals and next to the financial department to a better cash flow,• Continuous training development activities for buyers focused on relationships, efficiency, procedures, responsibilities and motivation,• I ensured that the corporate procedures for the purchasing process were faithfully followed by the buyers,• I coordinated the establishment of clear objectives as to the quality, cost and delivery times to meet the needs of the Delphi Automotive Systems divisions, including suppliers' performance monitoring,• I worked on the allocation of existing resources and also on commercial development to the projects for the new plants for Delphi Chassis and Delphi Packard - Jambeiro/SJCampos; for Delphi Harrison - Jaguariúna/SP and for Delphi Chassis - Gravataí/RS, at a total investment of US$ 80,35M,• I managed a procurement volume of US$ 53,46M with savings of US$ 8,18M (15.3%) in 1998, and US$ 51,22M in the year 1999 with savings of US$ 7,58M (14.8%).

• Responsible for planning, development and technical-financial management of the projects to build the new plants of GMB - DELCO REMY, AC ROCHESTER divisions (38,950sqm) and also to the new TECH-CENTER in Piracicaba city/SP at a total investment of US$ 133,3M with a savings of US$ 4,61M,• Responsible for developing the complete project for general ventilation System of 548,000 cfm to DELPHI-E production areas including all technical calculations,• Also responsible for site administration and for Facilities/Infrastructure/Environment areas as well as for planning and conducting all engineering studies for evaluations/technical analysis to the process improvement programs, cost analysis, schedule and resources available as well as for coordinating the manufacturing synchronized and cost reduction programs,• Development and installation of management and monitoring system to all Delphi-E plant utilities including electric power demand and power factor correction (1300kVAR) generating an annual savings of 16% (US$ 175,000.)• Responsible for managing/developing the Maintenance and Tool Shop departments (group of 14 people) and also by hiring, training and evaluating them as well as for planning and developing the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program,• Responsible for coordinating and developing the "GQS-Global Quality System" based on QS-9000 to all plants of Delphi Packard Electric in South America,• Responsible for managing the Environmental Engineering Area regarding to Delphi-E manufacturing process operations including surveys, environmental impact studies, industrial noise level reduction, air/water pollution control systems and also for the final disposal of solid waste from the production process,• Responsible for getting to Delphi-E the trophy called "CPFL Plus DESTAQUE - 1994" related to Environmental Area in view of the excellent plant operating conditions when compared to the results obtained over the last years.

• I developed several projects and technical specifications for procurement of ventilation/air conditioning (185 TR's)/chilled and cooling water systems for comfort and production processes; protection and fire fighting systems; bridge cranes; overhead and floor conveyors for production, CPD’s, Stamping and Final Assembly areas as well as technical and economic studies for new projects and evaluations / suppliers selection,• Scrap conveyor for GMB SCSul Stamping area, complete with motor drive, steel structures, scrap rail collectors and also some re-works to equipment called "Scrap Baler",• Bridge cranes of 10tx15m (2) and 15tx22m (1) capacities for Tool Shop area at GMB SCSul for handling stampings and tooling’s,• Responsible for the complete air conditioning (880 TR’s / 112 fan-coils) and general ventilation (170,000 cfm) projects to the new GMB Technical Center in SCSul/SP, including all technical calculations and also for the general coordination and their interfaces to this project.
