Retired CEO of Siemens Industry South America (excluding Brazil) as of February 1, 2020. I have held this position (under different names and business units) since 2007, leading an organization of +1,800 people. Before that, I held various management positions at Siemens (Argentina, Germany, Colombia, and Peru). In 2006 I became, together with other colleagues, a founding member of the Siemens Foundation in Colombia, an organization dedicated to the welfare, education, and help of people who are victims of climate catastrophes in this country. I was CEO of Siemens Peru from 2007 to 2013 and have had the responsibility of leading the creation and founding of Siemens Bolivia. I cannot forget my participation on the Board of Directors of the fantastic German-Peruvian Chamber (AHK) while living in Peru.During my time at Siemens, we have rebuilt and helped the sustained growth of the company based on strong social and sustainable values, in particular, integrity and compliance not only legally but ethically in all the markets we have been involved in.Today I enjoy being a "Be Prepared" grandfather and collaborating with different NGOs, especially the Maria Cecilia Foundation to help Children with Cancer by raising funds abroad.As I am passionate about soccer not only as an amateur ex-player but a great fan, I have been related for years with the football environment (clubs, agents, coaches, players, press, sponsors, sport rights, etc.).Based on my experience and background, I spent hours, days, and weeks during the 2020 global pandemic to join digitalization with soccer statistics and develop a systemic method to smart scout talented players, focusing on young players without data on global platforms; hence we created Samadie Sports, a team who is passionate about creating value for clubs who want to move up to the next level. Also, I am an advisor and consultant to some organizations and clubs.
