Position entails leading a development team in charge of design, develop, test and delivery high quality functions for the ActiveSuite range of HR software solutions. Software environment uses a wide set of J2EE frameworks and tools, such as Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Struts, Ajax, EJB, JSP, XML plus complementary tools such as SVN, bug trackers, internal wikis and scrums. Responsible for ensuring timely and high quality software delivery for two development sites, London and Krakow, Poland. Use iterations and sprints to schedule, organise, and track progress, with a constant view to increase the agility of company methodologies and designs. Responsible for coordinating development (7 senior developers team) with other departments (QA, Design, IT Services, Delivery management and Consultants), conduct personnel reviews with team members and also for developing and maintaining successful relationships with clients.

Software environment used Java/J2EE (UML, Eclipse, XML, EJBs. LDAP, JSP), Sybase (SQL and stored procedures), shell UNIX (batch processes and deploys), Weblogic servers, Bea and Tuxedo. Responsible for development and maintenance for Digital File, an internal application for Vodafone to store and track the flow of legal documents such as maps, contracts between companies. Also responsible for the development of two large Business Objects, development in over 1,000 man hours.

Position entailed teaching Java and communications. Responsible for defining the content of courses and for administrating the systems used during the courses.
