Carlos Ushdi is the Director of Asset Management and Strategy at Invest Capital Group. He focuses on maximizing the value and performance of the company’s portfolio. He has the responsibility for implementing a long-term real estate asset management strategy, value creation activities and risk/return analysis for the assets under management. Carlos also plays an active role in the due diligence process to achieve a high-performance transition from acquisition to asset management. He communicates directly with the Managing Partners to build and execute portfolio strategies.​Previously, Carlos began his real estate career as a Realtor in South Florida representing buyers, sellers, and tenants. From there he went on to form a real estate company that focused on the repositioning of distressed assets. His main role was the acquisition, construction, and selling of single-family homes to first-time home buyers. In this role he dealt directly with lenders, negotiated contracts with third parties, managed construction teams, and ultimately was responsible for the execution of the strategy for each property. With over ten years of experience in the real estate business, he has implemented extensive financial review and analysis to achieve expected investment returns. ​Carlos was born in Mexico City and raised in Miami, FL. He earned his bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences from Florida International University.management.
