Design Energy Management Systems for Energy Director.SAMPOL manages, operates and maintains CHP and CHCP plants in different countries. My main projects of Energy management have been:• Design annual simulators.Simulator takes into account variables such as: regulations of each country, electric market hourly prices, technical characteristics of plants, energy markets based on global index, etc...Simulator calculates annual energy balance and annual budgets of each plant.Tools oriented to sensitivity analysis of each plant based on changes of fuels prices, policy, energy demands of customers, etc... • Design optimization systems.Design of optimization systems focused on maximize the economic outcome of each plant.• Management tools and analysis of data from each plant.Design and implementation of different tools focused on economic and energy management. The main tools are: - Recollect data of each CHP plant. - Graphic display of data. - Analysis and calculating main KPI of each CHP plant. - Daily economic analysis of CHP plants. Moreover, I'm the supervision of PHD Student of SHINE Project of Seventh Framework Programme based on forecast of energy demand and market prices.

Participation in R&D project of the 7th Framework Programme (EU) based on energy efficiency called WATTALYST in collaboration with:• Lulea Teckniska Universitet (CDT)• IBM• École Polytechnique Fédérale De Lausanne (EPFL)• RWTH Aachen University (RWTH)• Athens University of Economics and Business• Tecnalia Research and Innovation. This project is focused on the study and implementation of Demand Response, a new concept based on energy efficiency focused on management of customer energy demand searching of energy and economic savings.

Elaboration of Business Plan for investment in CHP plants and renewable energy plants at national and international customers (Italy, Portugal, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Colombia, etc...)Business Plan is focused in:• Analysis of the energy demands of the customer.• Analysis of the energy prices of the customer.• Analysis of the energy market in the country where the customer is located.• Calculation of economic optimal power of CHP Plant.• Investment analysis (VNA, project TIR , shareholder TIR, PayBack) seeking profitability and economic viability of the project.• Calculation of energy and economic savings for the customer.• Design of energy sale formulas.• Drafting and presentation of the offer to the client.

Energy audits in large industrial factories in different European cities.Phases of the audit: - Site visit recollecting info.- Design auditing plan.- Installation of measuring equipment- Analysis of the monitored data.- Writing a report with possible improvements looking for energy and economic savings.

Analysis industrial processes through MTM-1, MTM-2, MTM-UAS and CRONO. Analyzing the data, obtained improvements in the process. Experience in dealing with the operator and company personnel.
