Functions:- Identifying the necessities of the product and the technologies needed based on the feedback of the stakeholders, finding digital solutions for bettering the distribution and positioning of the product in the market.- Creating wireframes and mockups of the digital solution that was going to be design for Roehampon´s University sustainable food growing initiative.Choosing and defining the correct architecture that was better fitted to the necessities of the application, for example, React, NodeJs, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, and relational databases with MySQL.- Collaborating with the backend team to make the integration with the database and adding different functionalities to the frontend with the help external services using APIs. Accomplishments:- I developed an integral action plan that resolved the main problems the food-growing service of the University of Roehampton had, oriented to increase the visibility of the product and creatin an ordering system to obtain the veggiebox (a box including seasonal vegetables), developing with React, NodeJs, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and MySQL in 8 weeks. - I created a adaptable design with a mobile first approach, that fulfilled the main design principles like consistency, hierarchy, accessibility and usability. The mentioned design was developed in Bootstrap.- I implemented the frontend development with ReactJS, creating 5 reusable components and connecting them to the backend using NodeJS with the library ExpressJS. Accomplishing the registration and facilitating the visualization of the information to the end users, guaranteeing the best experience and usability.
