• Responsibilities include organic analysis of water and soil utilizing and operating Agilent GC/MS/FID instruments for BTEX, CCME and VOC’s compounds.• Collect, compile and analyze data utilizing Agilent Technologies including EZ Start and Chem Station Software.• Interpreting data and adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording data.• Routine duties include standard & reagent preparation, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and data upload into LIMS. Maintain performance charts as per the QA/QC requirements.• Successfully completed assessments and audits through Laboratory Accreditation and Proficiency testing. (CALA). Able to analyze a problem or situation with clarity and accuracy.• Working collaboratively with supervisor in Method Development• Being aware of, and keeping up to date with, health and safety issues.• Successfully validating methods and equipment.
