With over 25 years of broadcast radio experience in major and medium markets, I have a passion for creating engaging and informative content for diverse audiences. As a broadcast radio professor at Conestoga College, I prepare students with on-air, writing, and production skills for careers in various radio and digital media roles, such as announcers, news anchors, creative writers, producers, and podcasters.In addition to teaching, I also have a weekly show on 96.7 CHYM FM. I began my radio career at the legendary 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, then moved to DAVE FM in Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge and built The Big Afternoon Radio Show into a strong and consistent ratings generator with the goal of being #1 for Adults 25-54. From there it was on to 91.5 The Beat and The Beat Breakfast making it the #1 station in key demos. My goal is to tell great stories and inspire students to do the same.

Started out as overnight announcer and was steadily rewarded with higher profile time slots and more responsibility. Moved from overnights become Assistant Music Director, scheduling music, participating in weekly music meetings, meetings with label reps and management of music department. Along with that role also had air shifts on weekend mornings.
