I have more than 15 years’ experience in graphic design and computer graphics. I have created web sites, interactive multimedia products, banners, interface designs, TV graphics, packaging, album covers, exhibit displays, flyers, annual reports, magazine designs and illustrations for businesses and government agencies in Europe and Canada. I worked for 3 years as a computer graphics designer at the Basque TV station, ETB, doing graphics for news program opening titles and a variety of animations. My responsibilities have ranged from initial client contact in the preliminary design stage through all subsequent phases leading to completionof the project with clients as diverse as Epson, the Angus Reid Group and the National Film Board of Canada. My work as a creative director has been recognized internationally with "Up to the Himalayas," a digital multi-media production which was a Prix Mobius International (Paris) Finalist and won several awards in North America including a Bronze at the 1997 New Media InVision Awards (San Francisco). My education includes an BFA with a Graphic Design Major from the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao) and a certificate studies from the London College of Printing in book design, typography, calligraphy and magazine production. As well, I completed an intensive one year information technology program (INFOTEC) at Capilano College in Vancouver. I feel my combination of skills and experience in the global marketplace would fit with your companys mission to provide innovative, high quality products to a variety of clients.
