I am a Chemical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, Colombia. I worked in the oil industry when I was part of Halliburton, one of the world's biggest companies in this sector. There I started as an intern when I was in the last semester of my studies, and after my graduation and good performance as an intern, I was appointed as a Field Professional for Reservoir Evaluation. I held this position for almost a year until the onset of the pandemic which brought about a decline in the oil industry in general. Based on this situation and my short but substantial experiences, I decided to guide my career towards another destination: renewable energy. I completed a diploma in photovoltaic solar energy (NABCEP certified) with the renewable energy consulting firm Allianz Energy and now I am in Toronto, Canada, studying the Energy Systems Engineering program at Centennial College, yearning to start my professional life in this so promising, and necessary for the planet and our future, area of ​​science.
