I am an academic intern working for Ogden School District. I work with students at a junior high, which includes monitoring and facilitating small group discussions. These kids have really grown on me in my time with them. I am currently working as a tutor for two classes, soon to be three in November 2021, where I assist students in math, reading, and AVID classwork. I was given the title of my spirit squad's captain after demonstrating leadership and sociability capabilities. On top of cheerleading, I participate in my school's chapters of Black Student Union and Latinos in Action; which are extra curricular activities to encourage community involvement, excellence in academics, and tutoring within the Latino community. In the future I would like to be part of an organization or community of people that help other people.
