My main responsibilities are to maintain and improve products already on production, as well new products development. It is part of my role to define the product specification, aligned with the company’s strategy and the market needs. It is also part of my duties the horizontal evaluation of the company resources, among the five verticals of the company's operations, namely: Aerospace, Automotive, Highways, Mobility and Special Projects. This evaluation is intended to optimize the development efforts and knowledge management. I refer directly to the CEO.

I was hired to implement the new products and the business development department at OrbiSat.Some projects I was involved in were the development of HD Digital TV Receiver, car trackingsystem using GPS and GPRS technology and deployment of the line receivers for DTH pay TV(OiTV). Government projects development linked to FINEP and BNDES funds, projectmanagement and accountability (financial and technical). Other projects were the constitution andmanagement of development teams, internal and outsourced, and the developing of hardware,software, mechanical and components. I have worked with product definition and specifications aswell as checking and approval of compliance with the specifications. I was involved in relationshipswith government entities (FINEP, BNDES, CTI) and institutions (Eldorado Institute, UNICAMP,INATEL), as well as the establishment of agreements with suppliers of products, technologies andservices. I was responsible for the negotiation, preparation of technical and commercial proposalsand technical support activities to customers in pre and post sales, but also for communication withcustomers and suppliers regarding the legal issues (confidentiality agreements, contracts,agreements and documents).

To manage and control all aspects of deployment and synchronize the development team action with the customers expectations. Contract management, change management and market trends.

I was responsible for implementing the operation of the joint venture between the Samurai andAXIOHM, a POS automation American company, as well as the adaptation of the hardware designand mechanics, implementation of the production line and of production processes, technicalsupport to customers and interface with AXIOHM engineering teams in US. I was also in charge ofthe purchasing and importation processes.I worked as development project manager on the Brazilian electronic voting machines in 2000 inpartnership with Itautec and coordinated a cross-functional group of engineers, technicians andadministrative staff. I took care of the relationship with customers and external development groupscovering the areas of mechanical design, hardware and software and systems integration. I workedon the development of a thin client solution, in a server-based systems using Linux as the operatingsystem environment. I managed projects of integration of Linux and Windows servers. I workedwith clients as PRODESP, IBM, CPM, BrasilTelecom, Telefonica, Siemens, T-Systems. I developedskills working on activities as making clients' proposals on private and government areas. Otheractivities: implementation of web collaborative portals using open source technology such as Zope,Plone and Python, study of voice over IP (VoIP), relationship with companies inside and outside ofBrazil, making several trips to the United States for technology transfer. Moreover, I worked on theapproval process of fiscal POS printers for business and the implementation and management ofquality systems.

Engworks was a company created by me and a group of four engineers with the objective ofproviding services in engineering, production and system management.Special Projects: Development of hardware for banking automation and of thermal printers for theBrazilian electronic voting machines.Production: Planning and implementation of the production line to assemble POS printers andimplementation of production processes.Internet: Project and implementation of Internet infrastructure; access, domain creation, web sitecreation and communications process;Administrative: Cash Flow; preparation costs, negotiations with customers and suppliers.

Worked on the management of the engineering group at Rima Impressoras mostly based on microcontrollers and with development tools such as ORCAD, PCAD and digital systems simulators. Iwas responsible for the implementation of production processes for the printers, development andcertification of suppliers, deployment and development of procedures for ISO 9001 certification andresponsible for attending the external audit teams of ISO 9000, but also managing the MRP systemfor the materials management (Novell network / UNIX).

My group was the interface between engineering, production, customer support and sales, working on solutions to address the product issues.

Hardware development and firmware engineer. Printer development (pin and laser printers)

Review printer hardware (8031 micro controller and gate array based hardware), printer projecthardware (8031 microcontroller based) and review of the gate array for printers family. I amexperienced in operating CAD systems using development tools such as ORCAD, PCAD, andSPICE simulator and implementing the methodology Tagushi for problem analysis in projectcoordination group.
