Born in Cali, Colombia, Carlos was raised within an entrepreneurial family which gave him the exposure and education which always motivated him to become a business leader. After completing high school in Cali at Colegio Hebreo Jorge Isaacs, Carlos lived in Cincinnati, OH, for a year where he experienced senior year, perfected his English, and fulled his motivation to look for a future and a career in USA. Due to Colombia’s economy and the impact it had on his family’s financials, Carlos had to return to Colombia and enrolled in the school of business administration at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de CaliAfter graduating and working at his father’s textile company for 2 years, in 2006, Carlos was presented with the opportunity to move to Miami and join Forest Travel as a marketing manager, opening the door to what would later become the greatest career opportunity and making Miami Carlos’s home for him and future familyCarlos was given the opportunity to lead the Forest Travel's team in 2010, and as the industry kept rapidly changing, his love for a challenge has been his motivation ever since, and his passion for travel and getting to know the world has been the catalyzing factor to continue growing in this business.The reason why Carlos does what he does starts with his passion to help people make travel dreams come true. He believes this world is full of incredible things to see and amazing experiences to live.In 2007 Carlos partnered with David Mendal founded Ultimate Jet Vacations and by 2012 under the leadership and partnership of Steven Kadoch, Ultimate Jet Vacations was well on its way to becoming one of the leader Luxury Travel Wholesalers in the US.In 2008 Carlos partnered with David Mendal again to found Luxury Cruise Connections, and in 2017 he became its CEO, creating a platform that has allowed for substantial year over year growth becoming one of the fastest-growing cruise agencies in South FloridaToday, Carlos participates in the board of Forest Travel and Ultimate Jet Vacations while leading Luxury Cruise Connections with a clear vision for future growth and expansion in the years to come.
