As the leader of Conill’s operations, Carlos has spearheaded its transformation into one of the most integrated shops serving the U.S. Hispanic market. Under his leadership, Conill has significantly expanded its business and was named Multicultural Agency of the Year by Advertising Age in 2011 and recognized in its Agency A-List report four years running.A 20+-year industry veteran, Carlos began his journey at Saatchi & Saatchi in Puerto Rico, where he was responsible for developing integrated marketing and communications plans for multinational clients such as Toyota, Lexus and Procter & Gamble. During his tenure as General Manager of Conill’s Los Angeles office, the agency extended its Toyota and T-Mobile businesses by nearly 400% and became Conill’s creative center of excellence. Carlos is credited with leading the teams that made Toyota the number-one brand in U.S. Hispanic market and Puerto Rico. He is also leading the agency team that is committed to making T-Mobile irresistible to U.S. Latinos. Carlos is a member of Saatchi & Saatchi’s Toyota Worldwide Executive Board, where he is responsible for ensuring best practices and improving communications between the global network’s U.S. Hispanic and Latin American agencies that work on the business.
