About Carlos Girod

I am currently a Software Development Engineer III at GoDaddy, working remotely from Brooklyn, NY. I graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. My focus at GoDaddy has been full-stack development, leaning more towards frontend web development using React, Node, SCSS and a variety of other tools. I am team-player, and I love to collaborate with others.I love to make products look and perform better, via either accessible/delightful frontend interactions or well-structured/optimized backend services. I am passionate about understanding and perfecting the user experience, and as such I love getting close to the problem domain and hearing customer feedback. In my free time, I work on designing and building websites for/with my family and friends.I am also passionate about music. I play the drums, guitar, and have played around with producing software. I would love to incorporate music more into my software development projects. I also love to play video games and board games, of almost any style or genre.
