I am a Senior majoring in Marketing at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am Adobe certified in Digital Video using Premiere Pro, and I am also Adobe certified in Visual Design with Adobe Photoshop. In high school, I had the opportunity to work in my school's stadium video crew. There, I ran the replays that would go up onto the Jumbotron. I also occasionally worked as a camera operator. That experience taught me much about not only live productions, but fundamental skills such as teamwork, communication, and trusting others.I also became the producer for my school's broadcast in my senior year of high school. Our production entailed a biweekly broadcast that would cover events from around the school and other news with a broader scope. As producer, I managed who was working on what pieces of content and who was assigned to each role before the show. This experience gave me strong leadership skills in both directing others and leading by example. I also gained more technical experience by using our Tri-Caster, which directs what camera is going to be live during each broadcast.Most of my skills lie in video production, and I spent most of high school working on improving those abilities. I know my way around a camera, and I interviewed all kinds of people for news packages on many different topics. This let me experience all sorts of different viewpoints on a multitude of topics, and the skill of interviewing someone is something that I honed and still strive to improve.
