As IT Manager, I was charged with financial planning and capital management, overseeing daily IT operations, and providing support in a multi-discipline corporate environment in the Oil and Gas industry. (formerly Proserv Offshore, Inc.) is the recognized oil and gas energy industry leader in providing worldwide abandonment consulting and project management services.As a project manager for the Consulting division of TSB Offshore, I planned and executed decommissioning liability studies for the world’s major and independent oil and gas operators. Responsibilities included drafting client proposals, time and resource allocations for awarded projects, constant updates to clients on current projects status and milestones, and final delivery of project reports. In addition to client projects I was charged in maintaining TSB’s proprietary estimating database with updated resources, rates and decommissioning methodologies based. Accomplishments included:• Liability assessment of UK’s largest independent oil and gas operator’s Southern North Sea offshore properties. The project included time overseas at the clients UK operations base to gather project requirement and data and to provide the client with on-site support.• Decommissioning study for major oil and gas operator exploration of new opportunities in the South China Sea.

Proserv Offshore, Inc. (formerly Twachtman, Snyder and Byrd, Inc.) is a production technologyand services company for the energy industry. I managed the regional information technology department with employees in Texas and Louisiana until the company was acquired by a competitor. I prepared and tracked the annual IT budget, administered and maintained all servers and workstations. When new branch offices where established I designed and implemented the local network making sure all necessary components where installed allowing access back to the corporate office’s Window Active Directory environment. In addition to in-house administration, I over saw third party vendor services including corporate telecommunications (T1 and VOIP services) field office fixed line service, mobile wireless communications, and copier solutions. As Proserv expanded internationally, I was appointed to the global IT committee which oversaw consolidation and realignment of IT services worldwide. Accomplishments included:• Consolidated mobile communications saving 40% monthly on service.• Implemented Google Apps across entire corporation including European, Australian and Far East entities,continuing as Global IT Manager for Google Apps support.• Designed and implemented help desk ticket system to support Global IT needs realizing increased response to user issues and reduced downtime lost due to technical problems.• Standardized computer hardware specifications and reduced hardware vendors to a single source, streamlining the procurement and delivery of equipment and reducing the average workstation cost by 20%.
