At ‘The Mexican Bloomberg,’ I am part of the executive committee and responsible for the product vision and roadmap, discovery, delivery, and agile practice. Defined the strategy, product vision, and roadmap and launched two MVPs. Then, after 18 months of a runway, which included the COVID-19 pandemic, folded the venture.• Analyzing the pains of ticket purchasing, identified an opportunity for small venue events promoted over Facebook, then iterated over an MVP based on Facebook in four months. As the COVID pandemic hit, in-person events dried up, and we did not launch.• Experimented with a design sprint for the user persona, Lily, an independent wellness provider in México who moved all her appointments to Zoom. Her primary pain was appointment scheduling and online payment. • Launched an MVP for wellness provider scheduling and payments three months later. We did not achieve product-market fit, so we decided to fail fast.

At BIVA, The Mexican Nasdaq, I led the establishment and expansion of a tech team, growing from a jack-of-all-trades team of three to a manager of managers for 25 employees and 100 contractors and part of the executive committee.• Delivered the trading product leveraging Nasdaq technology. Outcomes: zero downtime, 25% market share, and awarded as Mexico's most innovative company in 2022.• Built and managed a team of 7 senior reports or managers for operations, architecture, vendor management, infrastructure (networking, data centers, servers), quality assurance, and product management.• Designed our complete product portfolio strategy, which included Trading, Market Data, Listing, and Information terminal, and then built our competitive advantages: reliable, ultra-fast, low learning curve, and tight integration with third parties.• Designed and built the operations, including staffing, procedures, and stakeholder management, with zero downtime since day 1 (the Competing exchange has failure events in the double digits and an MTBF of 2 months).• Led strategic tech relationships with stakeholders, such as regulators, proprietary trading firms, system integrators, and vendors that consumed market data, such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg.
