We explored safety climate, self-control levels and the characteristics in the relationship between supervisors and operators. The implementation of our recommendations led to a 21% decrease in the Risk Indicator Factors (RIF's), and this accomplishment was featured in Caterpillar's 2012 sustainability report as one in five world exemplars for their 2020 goals. -
