Working as a developmental service worker, I have placed a special focus in building positive relationship with and among supported individuals; bringing forth a creative and joyful approach to each interaction, placing at the center their needs and concerns.Trained as a community psychologist, I have 9 years of experience collaborating with non-profit organizations in Canada, the United States, and Mexico; primarily focusing on:(1) facilitating collaborative partnerships among various stakeholders such as non-profit organizations, school principals, teachers, parents, local and international agencies,(2) facilitated the implementation, research, and evaluation of community driven projects, following a needs assessment, social capital and civic capacity inventory,(3) developing and facilitating group workshops and focus groups for adults and youth, following didactic, experiential, problem based, critical reflection, and collaborative learning.
