About Carlos Machado

Carlos Machado comes from a 20 year background in marketing, communications and brand management including experiences in both client and agency-side marketing. His previous work includes working with brands in Portugal and throughout Asia Pacific, including a previous role under the Ogilvy brand. With Ogilvy Redworks Macau, Mr. Machado was responsible for leading a team that managed digital marketing and web-related product development for the group’s largest client, the Sands China Group. This included working with a client that spanned 6 casino-resorts in Macau. He also worked with the Ignite Media Group as an Account Manager, working with a wide range of gaming and hospitality clients throughout Macau and Hong Kong.In 2011, Mr. Machado co-founded HOGO, a marketing consultancy firms based in Macau. With the help of his leadership, the agency would grow to include a pan-Asian presence, including Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Japan. He is currently responsible for maintaining agency operations as well as client relationships for the agency across all markets, including a focus on both business and product development for clients and the agency at large.
