Carlos Mello is a young artist born in 1997 in Porto, Portugal. He earned a degree in Product Design in Viana do Castelo and studied Fashion and Design in Italy, specializing in footwear design. At just 19 years old, he began his international career by presenting his first footwear collection at "Gallery Shoes" in Dusseldorf, Germany. Surrounded by artists from a young age, Carlos Mello's approach to creativity is heavily influenced by his upbringing. He is a disruptive and entrepreneurial individual who, in 2020, founded and assumed the creative leadership of the furniture brand "MainGUILTY". The brand is known for its provocative and irreverent approach to interior design, using art and sculpture as their main tools to create authentic works of art. "MainGUILTY" has a presence in the Middle East (Dubai, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia) and has been gaining ground in the United States market. In 2022, "Associative Design" named it the breakthrough brand. Through his artwork, Mello seeks to provide moments of reflection on issues that affect society.
