I am Carlos Rincon, Founder, CEO, and President of The Uprising Football Club, Inc., a non-profit organization I started in July 2020. My mission is to develop world-class football players and revolutionize the culture of soccer in the United States through a combination of passion, talent, and ambition. With a background as a former college soccer player at UCLA and Cal State LA, where I won a national championship in 2021, I understand the importance of nurturing young talent both on and off the field.My professional journey includes a range of roles within the sports industry, from video analyst at LAFC to head coach at Santa Monica Surf, and a volunteer assistant coach at Cal Poly Pomona. I've gained valuable experience working with players at all levels, guiding them through the complexities of competitive sports and helping them reach their potential. In addition to my coaching and analytical work, I spent time as a sales associate at Niky's Sports, where I learned the value of customer service and building strong relationships.Currently pursuing my MBA in Sports Leadership and Management at UCLA Anderson, I am focused on enhancing my leadership skills and expanding The Uprising to provide greater opportunities for underprivileged communities. My long-term goal is to return to the professional soccer world, while continuing to grow The Uprising Football Club into an organization that empowers young athletes, enabling them to compete at the highest levels globally.Driven by a passion for changing the culture of soccer in the U.S., I aim to bridge the gap between talent development and professional success, so that American teams can compete with top European nations.
