At Parallel Staff, I work as a full-time Senior Web Developer for one of their clients, designing, developing and maintaining .NET applications. At this role, I leverage my experience to modernize software development practices, including but not limited to bootstrapping an automated testing initiative.

I served as a freelance technical author for Hit Subscribe, a content marketing agency based in the United States, contributing over 200 technical posts. Additionally, I created technical content for various clients, including K6 and Nimble.

As a technology consultant, I served clients in Brazil and abroad, carrying out code reviews, acting as an instructor for online courses, and carrying out development tasks as a contractor.Among other engagements, during this period, I led a "code review as a service" project reviewing a 10000+ LoC application. diagnosing issues and elaborating a detailed plan for remediating the issues found. I also taught a 20+ hours Git course remotely (over Zoom) for an audience of 5 people from multiple countries.

At AmbevTech, I played a key role in all phases of the software development lifecycle. This involved the design, development, and maintenance of 4 .NET libraries. I also developed APIs and microservices in C# and Python and implemented 4 CI/CD pipelines through Azure Pipelines. I developed and maintained a front-end SPA project in React/Typescript, especially focused on authentication/authorization.Related to the same initiative, I designed and implemented a .NET SDK for an internal API, that assists 100+ users in complying with the company's authentication and authorization guidelines.Additionally, I introduced a standardized approach to technical documentation in the team, which the company adopted as a standard in its official technical documentation.More recently, as part of the MDM team, I created and maintained APIs and microservices in C#, an integral part of an innovative Master Data Management solution for the company.

I maintained a mobile application developed in Java for the Android platform, ensuring its seamless functionality, which served more than 100 users. Employing script programming, I automated various tasks, significantly enhancing the productivity of my fellow programmers.I created and maintained internal tools, mostly in C#, but also using a variety of technologies, such as PHP, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and bash programming. Among those, there was a service to create and seed databases, on demand. This mechanism served 10+ developers, helping them run integration testing seamlessly.

I undertook the modernization of a legacy Windows Forms application that only supported SQL Server. This involved adapting the application to also accommodate Oracle Database, resulting in a notable 50% expansion of our client base. In addition to this, my responsibilities encompassed the ongoing maintenance of both desktop (Windows Forms) and web (ASP.NET MVC) applications.Furthermore, I played a key role in the knowledge transfer within the team. I taught over 15 colleagues on the usage of Git and facilitated the smooth transition of our codebases from TFVC to Git version control. Additionally, I advocated for and implemented the adoption of best practices, including code review processes, the integration of automated testing (both unit and integration), the establishment of continuous integration workflows, and the documentation of these practices through an internal wiki.
