Responsible for overseeing Thomson Reuters' commercial relationships with key enterprise-wide service providers. Managed the relationship and governance of partners providing services in IT, Facilities, Real Estate, General Accounting and Accounts Payable.

Carlos was in charge of all aspects of this semi-independent acquired business: its P&L, operations and strategy. During Carlos' tenure, eBillingHub saw its revenues quadruple, dramatically expanding the reach and depth of the product, adding new business lines and becoming the undisputed leader of electronic billing for law firms.

Led the integration into Thomson Reuters of more than 15 newly acquired businesses in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia.Developed the strategy, plan and communications of the acquisition, from Day 1 (welcoming the new employees) to the hand-off to the business owner (a 3 to 9 month process). Managed the integration process of all areas (market-facing and operational).Achievements:• Development of a repeatable, standardized process for acquisition integration.• Successful integration of companies in 6 countries, from 9 to over 300 employees and up to $55M in revenue.• Met or exceeded board paper targets in all but two acquisitions.

Managed the implementation of large technology projects on Thomson Reuter’s centralized platform. Main achievements:• Requirements-to-launch management of a $33M online product for Spanish business unit (budget of $4.3M, a team of 30 and 30,000 hrs of work).• Requirements-to-launch management of a multitude of smaller projects across the globe, interacting with multiple technology teams across the organization.

Managed the paper-to-xml conversion team and led the design of the user interface for Thomson’s German product.Achievements:• Determined interface design. • Completed launch of product into German market.
