My current activity is focused on the study and development of new applications/solutions for commercial refrigeration and HVAC market. In the last two years I mainly coordinated the fw development of a new platform that represents one of the pillars of the company's productsFollowing the internal thermodynamic research center setup, and supporting customers on field, gave to me the opportunity to have the "big picture" of the difficulties, the needs and the challenges with which a customer can face on. This provided me many triggers to think from the customer point of view during the development of new solutions.

My activities are firmware and hardware design in the home automation system team and following the technical validation of the product during the project process. During this experience I also had the opportunity to design test equipments and automated software testing. Once the design is completed, the aim of my activities is give to the production department a complete and reliable production package of the developed product.I have a strong experience in product development like:- lighting systems (dimmers, fluorescent ballast drivers, DALI) - energy meters (developed the first dimmer with energy measurement of the whole market)- passive infrared sensors - sensors for home automation (smoke detectors, humidity and temperature sensors)- security infrared sensors- analogue input/output meters- microcontrollers 8/16 bit (USART, SPI, PDI, I2C, ADC, Memory) & communication protocols

Imaging spectroscopy and 3D shape scanning.During the internship I tested new algorithms for digital image processing with particular focus on identifying the most suited light to obtain a good colorimetric reconstruction.
