I am an entrepreneur and consumer enthusiast who specializes in the finer points of building and leading Engineering teams through startup environments.I began my career as a Web Developer and Software Engineer. I joined Compete as a founding member of the Engineering team and built much of the data processing and Web infrastructure that still powers Compete today. When I left Compete I was overseeing the engineering of all external facing Compete products, including Compete.com. Compete was acquired by TNS at the end of my time there, and is now run by Millward Brown Digital. I moved on to start FlipKey with my Compete colleague TJ Mahony, and Jeremy Gall. We were majority acquired by TripAdvisor (owned by Expedia) early on, and spent over 4 years under TripAdvisor building out one of the largest Vacation Rental marketplaces in the world. FlipKey currently hosts over 300,000 vacation rental properties covering the entire globe.My newest venture is BondLink, which is building software systems to help push the municipal bond market forward.
