Data Platforms Group (DPG) - Datacenter Platform Engineering & Architecture (DPEA)• Architected & drove the implementation of the process lifecycle & engineering response for the Intel Platform Update (IPU) program. The IPU delivers key security & functional updates across 7+ years of Intel Client, Server & IOTG platforms. Client Computing Group (CCG) – Windows System Integration & Validation (WSIV)• Managed a diverse team of validation architects and execution leads responsible for platform validation of high end desktop, big core programs, and key customer co-validation engagements.

(Client Computing Group (CCG) – Windows System Integration & Validation (WSIV))• Automation Architect & Product Owner for all WSIV automation development requirements and served as primary interface into the Windows Dev Ops (WDO) organization.• Partnered with Windows Dev Ops to implement a highly scalable automated IFWI & Windows OS flashing solution that resulted in manual effort reduction of 1 contingent worker per program with an estimated savings of $120k/year per program.• Ideated and implemented a solution to enable a 1:3 ratio between Host & SUT for IFWI flashing and DPMO cycling which resulted in a 50% reduction in capital expenditures without requiring updates to existing automation.• Successfully drove a cross-team effort to align WSIV on a single solution for DPMO Sx Cycling encompassing E2E execution, deployment, reporting, functional validation capabilities, and alignment with the new Unified Quality Release Criteria.

(Client Computing Group – (CCG))• Responsible for E2E quality and validation of a virtual shopping solution developed in partnership with a multi-billion-dollar online retailer and comprised of a client Windows application, Intel Real Sense camera, a website and several cloud-based services developed by ISVs & partners • Architected an E2E continuous integration loop including builds, deployment, unit test execution, system level tests, and reporting utilizing Jenkins, Nunit, SpecFlow, and C# developed content which reduced build and test cycle by 50%.• Established SW engineering best practices for the ISV & partners which included a tiered build & release process and unit testing requirements that resolved chronic issues with broken builds. Drove in debuggability into the product which allowed the root cause of critical feature blocking issues. • Led the technical aspects of several partner & customer user experience research events collecting crucial user feedback and data which was leveraged to improve product accuracy and overall user experience.

(Operating Systems Group - Mobile Shell (MOBS) - Windows 10)• Owned the quality assurance (QA) of Windows Mobile Shell Personalization feature which allows for users to customize many aspects of their mobile devices.• Drove QA from customer perspective into feature design, testability, code review, customer measures, & telemetry in agile/scrum environment.• Implemented telemetry instrumentation in C/C++ for the Mobile Shell Personalization feature to support initial Scenario Measures.• Accessibility Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MOBS team responsible for driving accessibility across the organizations feature set and educating team about accessibility.(Windows User Experience (UEX) - Settings, Networking & Devices Team (SND) - Windows 8/8.1)• Co-architected & co-developed the PC Setting UI Automation Framework utilizing C# & POM/LFM design pattern. Drove adoption across Windows & partner teams resulting in 35+ developers utilizing the framework.• Owned the QA of the PC Settings Ease of Access group including narrator, magnifier, high contrast, keyboard, mouse, & other options pages. • Developed page automation using C# with P/Invoke for OS API calls & leveraged the UI framework.• Accessibility Champion for SND team & drove accessibility across the team’s features. My evangelism enabled PC Settings, one of Windows largest UI surfaces, to ship without having to document any P1 accessibility issues.• Reverse Integrate (RI) Driver for SND. Safeguarded integration of new code into higher level branches by ensuring timely test sign-offs, resolving merge conflicts, & driving RI gate failures resulting 100% success rate.• Owned the QA for Hardware Button UX, Media Transport Control UI (MTCUI), Critical Battery Notifications, New Task Manager, Troubleshooting CPL, Power Options CPL, & RegEdit.

(Windows Fundamentals Division - Diagnosis Test Team - Windows Vista & 7)• Founding lead for the Windows Diagnostic Infrastructure (WDI) team. Successfully built a strong team from the ground up by recruiting, interviewing, hiring & enabling the team’s vision while maintaining 90% retention rate.• Architected the testing & automation strategy implemented by the team which lead to 80%+ code coverage for the framework & generated several tools which partner teams leveraged.• Drove extensive cross-group engagement with partner teams across the entire Windows Organization which ensured the 25+ in-box troubleshooters were developed with high quality & were well tested.• Reported product, bug glide & test status for the organization to Windows VPs & Test Directors. Identified & mitigated top issues to remain on ship schedule.• As the charter for Diagnosis Team expanded I also led the Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) team & owned QA for several troubleshooters implemented for WDI.

(Windows Core OS Division -- Windows Mobile Computing Test Team - Windows 2000, XP & Vista)• Test lead for the Windows Mobile Computing, Bluetooth, Secure Digital, & Microsoft Reliability Service test teams. Managed a team of up to 20+ employees including management of managers.• Successfully built strong teams from the ground up by recruiting & hiring talented• Coached, mentored & developed careers, aiding growth & increasing scope of directs influence on product quality, and enabling positive working environment.• Represented QA from customer perspective in all product lifecycle aspects from feature design requirements, testability, code reviews, bug triage, & signoff through product release in waterfall environment. • Developed dynamic reports & drove product, bug & test status for the team to Test Directors & Windows Central Ship Room. • In partnership with my manager pioneered & presented to leadership the concept of testing from a mobile customer scenario perspective resulting in creation of the Windows Mobile Scenarios Test.

(Windows Core OS Division -- Windows Mobile Computing Test Team - Windows 2000 & XP)• Owned test planning, automation, & validation across multiple bus drivers as Plug & Play support was first added to the Windows NT code base.• Interfaced with on-site OEM & IHV partners regarding issues on prototype hardware. Dramatically increased the number of software/hardware bugs fixed in development thus reducing need for post launch updates.• Designed & developed Hot Plug Device Test Engine which leveraged Plug & Play APIs allowing for test devices to be hot plugged in & tests automatically launched which reduced manual effort by 25%.• Authored new hire documentation & training materials which resulted in 50% reduction in on-boarding time.
