As the largest student-run organization at the University of Denver, the DU Alpine Club, organizes events and trips for students to get closer to the outdoors. On average over 1,500 students participate yearly in the club's events and trips, earning national recognition for fostering outdoor skills and leadership amongst its members. As an officer I organized, managed and lead trips and events. My responsibilities included regular planning and budgeting for travel, food, and accommodations. As a trip leader, I safely guided members through physically and mentally challenging excursions. During my tenure I helped develop a robust mountain biking program through marketing initiatives and developing trips for a wider range of skill levels. Experiences ranged from backcountry skiing at Silverton Mountain to 60 member overnight multi-sport trips to Moab, Utah.

The Undergraduate Business Student Association (UBSA) is an organization dedicated to providing support services to the Daniels College of Business organizations. Student initiated, UBSA was created to provide peer-to-peer support services and represent the interests, needs and concerns of the business student body As the Vice President of the organization I contributed by developing new programs and services for students. Many of the programs I implemented were devised to engage students that were not already being reached by the administration, and further enhance the experience for others.
