Formulation and development of a cancer targeted lyoprotected surfactant based ultrasound contrast agent via arginine-glycine-aspartate (RGD) peptide attachment to aid in cancer diagnostics and treatment tested in vitro and in vivo in ratsand rabbits.A first author paper has been published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics. This paper is on preserving echogenicity of the surfactant ultrasound contrast agent ST68, developed in-house, through the addition of sugar excipients.

I worked to validate an assay for the determination of Tiagabine in heparinized human plasma. This was in preparation of Phase IV drug studies.I utilized multiple solid phase extraction columns, ran samples through HPLC in preparation for MS-MS testing.

I was in charge of lysing E.coli cells and isolating the super coiled DNA that was being replicated inside the E.coli using specialized in-house column chromatography. The samples were then purified with cross-flow filtration membrane and tested for purity.
