Strategic and technical consulting and advisory primarily within the Data, AI, and Machine Learning area.

Led the Product Data Accountable Group, comprised of 9 cross-functional teams with 70 people (product managers, engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business operations). The groups main responsibility is to develop and maintain the Klarna Product Data Catalog, which is a key enabler for several of Klarnas shopping experience offerings, including comparison shopping service, product search and discovery, etc. I was overall responsible for the direction and execution of the group, which includes vision, strategy, roadmap, planning, stakeholder management, etc. I was also competence lead (people manager) for 5 data science managers which entails mentorship, coaching, performance management, as well as technical guidance and support.

Was overall responsible for the product data catalog and the organisation building and maintaining it, comprised of data science, analytics, and operations. Built out PriceRunners data science and advanced analytics capabilities from scratch. This included strategy, hiring, overall architecture, processes, and ways of working. PriceRunner was acquired by Klarna in april 2022.

Led a team of world-class data scientists and software engineers that used AI and Machine Learning to create smart and data-driven products and services in Schibsted Media. We collaborated closely with product and engineering teams to build models and services that added value in terms of, e.g., increased relevance, automation and personalisation.

Worked in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) team, which uses machine learning and NLP to develop components and services for processing of textual content from our media houses and marketplaces. Examples include components for NLP preprocessing and models and services for Topic Modelling, automated content tagging, and messaging intent inference. The tech stack included, e.g., Python, Tensorflow, Keras, Spark, Scala, Luigi.Before joining the NLP team, I was part of the User Modelling team which is responsible for building a system for modelling of user attributes relevant for, e.g., ad targeting across the Schibsted eco-system. Work was mostly done in Spark and Scala, but occasionally also Python and R.

Involved in projects focused on user attribute inference/profiling for ad targeting and subscription churn prediction for media houses, e.g., Aftonbladet and Aftenposten. Worked mostly with Spark (Scala), but also Python and R.

Main task was to initiate, lead, and conduct, pre-development activities within the area of data mining and advanced data analytics for Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS). Broad role containing everything from requirements definition, design, implementation and demonstration of the results. Additional tasks included research and pre-development activities related to heavy road-vehicle platooning and decision support systems for transport optimization. This involved research and development work as well as planning and preparation of national (Vinnova/FFI) and european union (FP7) funded research projects.

Worked on methods and algorithms for fault diagnosis and fault management. Focused mainly on automotive applications.

Development of control system software for engine diagnosis and supervision.
