Responsible for communications and branding across all company platforms while growing our presence in the nonprofit sector, in the media, and the neighborhoods we serve. Responsibilities include: -Overall communications strategy-Brand management and implementation-Digital Communications strategy and implementation (social media, website, and email marketing)-Managing and innovating upon the Annual Report (writing, research, oversight of graphic/web design, editing)-Merchandising strategy and implementation to further connect to the Grand Street brand-Managing Graphic Design vendors to create collateral for digital and print needs throughout the agency-Advocacy implementation and planning including participation on the Grand Street Racial Equity Affinity Team-Photography and content management-Strategy and implementation for communications and marketing related to all major fundraising campaigns-Strategy and implementation of internal communications including managing employee communications from Human Resources-Managing Public Relations efforts which resulted in major increases of placement in articles and an expansion of brand awareness.-Managing paid marketing efforts to boost staff and participant recruitment as well as brand awareness-Oversight of vendors including photographers, signage printers, signage installers, videographers and editors, graphic designers, merchandisers, and more.Special Projects include -Writing, project managing, and publishing a branded children's book -Managed preservation and display of Grand Street's historic archives formerly kept in unsafe conditions.-Managed production of historic announcement video (script writing, research, filming logistics, editing feedback, distribution) in under two weeks to hit deadline.-Graphic design of shuttle busses used for participant transportation-Managed and facilitated creation of multiple murals throughout New York City

Responsibilities included-Branding of all outward-facing materials including but not limited to signage, flyers, and newsletters, as well managing social media.--Liaison to the Board of Directors (2018-2020), planning quarterly board meetings, committee meetings, and keeping lines of communication open between the board and staff.-Marketing for Grand St. Settlement's social enterprise, GrandLo Cafe (2018-2020), creating advertisements, promotional materials, and coordinating events that boost GrandLo Cafe's notoriety.-Coordinator for GrandLo Cafe's catering and events program (2018-2020), working with clients to book event spaces at Essex Crossing Community Center, providing tours and working with clients throughout the planning process of their event, operating Square to send and track invoices, and facilitiating the creation of the Catering and Events materials and contracts used by GrandLo Cafe.

Carl was responsible for scheduling the hiring interviews of prospective employees with the work schedules of staff members. He also scheduled the daily conference rooms for an 80 person office while answering phones, working with clients, and helping with the daily operations for the company.
