Worked as a General Manager and then transitioned into a Community Relations Coordinator to support multiple stores on Community Building, Marketing and Sales. Fortunate enough to be able to be moved within multiple units to help build grown, culture and adhere to business standards. Held accountable for food safety, staffing, labour, growing and developing the management team; in charge of cultural transformation, training and development; during my tenure as a General Manager. Coordinating, organizing and working Community Events. Direct relationship building with outside businesses and partners, managing all social network sites for multiple stores. Organizing in-store promotions and marketing initiatives to drive engagement and sales. Organizing and creating mail-drops, out of store local marketing initiatives for multiple locations; During my time as Community Relations Coordinator. In both roles I have been responsible for organizational effectiveness, performance management, organizational development, and leadership.

Being a part of their management and operational team, taught me valuable lessons on problem solving, marketing and franchisee operations. My duties included: Accounting - Book keeping in Quickbooks; including payroll. Cash and credit card reconciliation, profit and loss reports, costs of good reports, invoicing and accounts receivable, expenses and accounts payable. Operations: Dispatch, scheduling of team, Troubleshooting, ensuring daily procedures are followed, customer and employee reporting. HR: Implement and create corporate policies, including safety procedures; update HR files, staff meetings, hiring and lay offs, employee disciplinary action. Marketing and Business Development: Research and email/web marketing locally and internationally to increase business presence and customer base. Accomplishments:Over saw the start and growth of managing the resale department. Grew the resale department by 13X during my tenure. Dropped the employee bounce rate by 10%. Built lasting and impact relationships with employees and management.

Building and creating a successful new business, which at the time was a one of a kind venue in the busy capital of BC, Victoria. Duties included everything from staff payroll, wages, hiring, disciplinary action and more. Inventory, cost control in all aspect of the business, quoting and sales in events. Planning and executing a wide variety of events. Dealing with all aspects of an event venue and late night venue including adhering to all by-laws and safety protocols. Working directly with out side contractors, such as decorators, photographers, security, catering, etc. Full knowledge of business ins and outs. All administrative duties, book keeping and management of day to day operations.
