Following on from my journalism degree and with a strong interest in broadcast media, I successfully gained a place on CNN's prestigious internship scheme. I was assigned to Christiane Amanpour CBE (now the Global Affairs Anchor of ABC News) and spent time helping to produce interviews, writing stories, shadowing journalists and producing vox pops.
