UNCW graduate with a M.A.T in Secondary Science and a B.S. in Marine Biology. I have been teaching biology and ecology in Portsmouth, VA for the past two years. My passion for marine science came after re-starting my college career at 23 years of age. After six years of leadership with an outreach ministry geared towards high school students, I have gained people skills, boldness, and a heart willing to welcome all students. I spent about three years working as a chiropractic assistant, where I learned time management, empathy, and organization. Thanks to the skills I have learned and experiences I have had, I am a passionate, equity-seeking, and motivated educator- eagerly expectant of this next chapter in my journey.
