-Teach two classes (Law and Ethics and Community Mental Health) as an Adjunct Professor in the MFT program in the Department of Counseling Psychology in San Francisco and Sacramento.-Prioritize advocacy, equity, and trauma-informed perspectives. -Provide holistic support to students.

-Provided strategic planning, technical assistance, and policy support to localities working around the issue of homelessness as a nonprofit consultant. -Facilitated strategic planning processes on the city level.-Provided capacity building trainings and workshops to direct service providers, focusing on harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed work environments.-Reviewed provider policies and procedures to provide technical assistance and feedback.-Conducted evaluations on community responses to homelessness.-Built relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including providers, community members, government representatives, and people with lived experience of homelessness.

-Provided facilitation support to deliberative democracy process for land-use project in Petaluma, California.-Guided community members’ discussions on policy recommendations.-Facilitated large (36 people) and small (6 people) panels and discussions.

-Developed and implemented programming designed to support youth experiencing commercial sexual exploitation and homelessness (11-24) through crisis response, advocacy, and intensive case management.-Hired, trained, and provided clinical supervision to six direct practice staff.-Provided trainings to community-based organizations, child welfare workers, medical providers, and teachers.-Refined program design based on team input, youth voice, and data collection. -Participated and advocated in higher-level citywide and statewide partnerships to address the commercial sexual exploitation of children in San Francisco and the Bay Area.-Identified funding sources, articulated program design, and wrote grant proposals in collaboration with the Development Team and executive leadership.-Developed and monitored program budgets across five different funding sources. -Managed data and defined measurable outcomes.-Developed strong relationships with community partners, including Child Welfare, Juvenile Probation, the Public Defender, community-based organizations, researchers, health and mental health providers.-Managed and staffed 24-hour response for commercially sexually exploited youth as they interface with the foster care system.-Supported program values of survivor leadership, positive youth development, harm reduction, and trauma informed, strengths-based, and client-centered work.

-Developed eight-session series of interactive SEL workshops designed for transitional age youth participating in Santa Clara County’s deferred entry of judgment program detained in juvenile hall. -Collaborated extensively with a six person team to reach project outcomes using design thinking.

-Provided support to education, direct practice, and policy initiatives for responding to the commercial sexual exploitation of children.-Developed countywide certified training and “train the trainers” curriculum.-Provided therapy and case management to youth experiencing commercial sexual exploitation in juvenile hall and in the community.

-Provided direct services to youth on Probation in Alameda County referred through mental health court.-Conducted assessments, drew up treatment plans, provided individual and family services, and generated mental health notes according to Medi-Cal standards. -Facilitated Multidisciplinary Team Meetings.

-Researched and developed policy recommendations for criminal justice and juvenile justice issues. -Conducted evaluation of local anti-violence initiative and organized qualitative study of girls in gangs. -Transcribed and coded focus group data.

-Provided direct services in individual and group settings to adolescents, ages 12-18, detained in the girls unit of juvenile hall. -Used crisis intervention techniques, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed therapy for assessment, treatment, and research purposes.

-Trained and led leadership development workshops for UC Berkeley undergraduate students with a focus on democratic learning spaces.-Mentored and provided support to students engaging in community based, social justice work. -Provided logistical support through program coordination.

-Engaged a diverse group of adolescents, ages 14-18, in mental health support services.-Conducted biopsychosocial assessments and developed, implemented, and evaluated interventions in collaboration with young people. -Linked young people to community resources. -Gained skills in engaging youth in the milieu setting.

-Led week-long civic engagement program for high school students. -Supervised twenty-five youth for six full days in collaboration with three other staff. -Facilitated activities to support youth in developing awareness of social issues.

-Facilitated weekly support group for pregnant and parenting young women. -Conducted outreach, completed intakes. -Generated popular education curriculum. -Provided referrals and support in overcoming barriers to sexual and mental health care. -Facilitated sexual health workshops in high schools across Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.
