I have 16 years’ experience in the hair and beauty industry taking responsibility for the daily aspects of managing a wholesale business. With exceptional store management, customer relations and strong retail skills, I am experienced in building and retaining customer and supplier relationships, driving sales, monitoring, managing and reporting finances and profit. Taking full operational accountability, to include creating and implementing policies and procedures, control of stock, cash handling and overseeing all aspects of the business to achieve targets, with a planned strategic approach. Managing a team of employees, providing the opportunity to develop and promote each member of staff, through education and training to achieve outstanding results.My current role started as a family hairdressing wholesale business, initially as van sales and over 13 years expanded into retailing nail and beauty products, as well as successfully employing 2 members of staff. The business was sold in 2019 and as part of the buy-out I was offered the position of Store Manager. I have continued to increase business sales year on year and added additional benefits such as the training academy, to include organising customer events and training courses.I am hardworking and passionate with good business management skills and a passion to succeed, with attention to detail to ensure accurate data input to provide monthly evaluation and reporting and achievement of KPI's. A forward-thinking individual with expert industry knowledge and the confidence to engage and take ownership of relationships with all stakeholders.I have experience of organising a variety of community events for charity fundraising, such as sponsored Zumba, fetes, and charity balls, these are activities I have taken sole responsibility for organising, as a volunteer, to ensure I can give something back to charity’s that have helped close relatives and friends of mine.
