I would love the opportunity to have an internship for a company that deals with the event planning. When looking at all the areas that marketing plays an important role into, I found myself loving event planning. I believe that all of the little things a company does for its costumers has a major impact on the customer's overall view of the company. When I was a freshman in high school, I decided to try out for this business pitch competition. I had to come up with my own idea and how I would hypothetically execute this plan. I had the opportunity to move on to the second round and that is where my love for marketing came from, trying to convey my passion for a product so others understand why I love it so much. While being a senior in high school, I had the opportunity to be president of an organization that fundraised over $30,000 for Riley Children's Hospital. This was the largest amount of money the organization had ever raised in a year since the organization was introduced.While being very involved in my local high school and community I always tried to find ways to make sure there was always something for someone to do within the organizations. I also took it upon myself to make sure that every member within these organizations knew that everything they did was greatly appreciated. I added value to all the organizations that I was apart of through my public speaking abilities. Being in leadership positions I have found that groups are the most successful when everyone has the same drive, ending goal, and a strong support system if you fall.
