I represent employers in all aspects of employment counseling and litigation, including advising on compliance with a full range of federal and state employment statutes, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. I also navigate complex employment issues relating to mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, help clients with developing and implementing personnel practices and procedures, conduct employee and manager trainings, draft employment agreements and non-compete agreements, advise on managing employee leave and disability issues, investigate allegations of misconduct, assist clients with managing difficult employees, and provide guidance on wage and hour law compliance. I served as the associate leader of Cooley's Women's Initiative in our DC Office and previously served for several years as an Associate Committee member reporting to firm management.
