I’m originally from Pennsylvania but I have worked in California and North Carolina, and I have recently finished a transformational Masters of Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability program from a forward-thinking school in the south of Sweden. My education path started off at art school since I love creative projects and expressing my personal aesthetic, but I quickly realized my lifelong passion has always revolved around protecting the environment…I mean, my first crush was Steve Irwin, and for my first project in elementary school where I was allowed to pick the topic I made a presentation how CFCs had been depleting the ozone layer. I love my career choice! Being able to apply my analytical problem solving skills to the most important, complex, and timely challenge of today calls to all of my passions, and I’m able to incorporate my creative outlook whether it's in the form of an innovation solution or my eye for structured organization.Collaborating with like minded individuals is another aspect of the industry that I love, but I’m also always willing to educate others about sustainability initiatives who may not yet understand the urgency of the problem. Sustainable business strategy or ESG criteria are much more than reports for clients to feel good about, it’s a road map for how a corporation is proving their social license to exist in a sustainable future.
