Penn State Alternative Breaks is a student-run organization that provides Penn State students the opportunity to be educated in a social justice topic and experience a week-long service trip during the school breaks. As a Co-Executive Director, it is my responsibility to train our student Site Leaders who in turn lead the trips. My co-executive director and I development a new training curriculum for our Site Leaders. The goal of the curriculum is to instill confidence and effectively prepare our Site Leaders to lead their trips. The curriculum includes, but is not limited to, how to lesson plan for activities and reflections, how to lead group discussions and reflections of tough conversations regarding social justice topics, how to address group conflicts, and how to effectively educate their participants. Since my two years serving as co-executive director, our program has more than tripled in size.

Supervisor to 11 Account Executives (AEs). My main responsibility is reaching our company's sales quotas. To do so, I help foster the growth and confidence of our AEs by being invested in their personal goals, working with each AE to develop sales strategies and techniques for their clients, as well as be a consistent motivation force in and out of the office. My other responsibilities include collboarting with the four other business departments, expanding on the current curriculum to effectively train ten new AEs for next semester, and coming up with new and innovation ways to bring in revenue for the Daily Collegian.

Worked with 15 - 20 local clients in the state college area to sell print and digital media advertising for the Daily Collegian. Also made 3 - 5 cold calls a week and assisted my managers in weekly training for the new Account Executives.

After a successful year long internship, I was asked to come back and work part-time as the Student Office Worker. My duties include updating and maintain our website and social media accounts, and managing events for other Penn State Organizations to rent out our space. I serve as the liaison between my boss and the seven interns we have this year. I also am apart of the Wesley Leadership Team. I have made contributions to Abba Java's strategic plan which included creating a new brand and figuring out the best ways to manage and market it.

Volunteered is disaster relief work rebuilding schools that were destroyed in the 2015 Earthquake in Nepal. Most of my time was spent as a team leader on a remote project build in Lisankhu Pakhar. I was part of a core team that was able to successfully build two Jica buildings in the tight time frame of 47 days.

As an intern at Abba Java Coffeehouse, I have been the lead of a variety of projects including event managing, volunteer coordination, and inventory management. As an event manager, I am responsible for networking and nurturing relationships with Penn State student organizations and creating events with these organizations that are mutually beneficial. As a volunteer coordinator, I train new volunteers and make sure our volunteers are abiding to the coffeehouse's regulations. I am also the main student contact those seeking to volunteer will reach out to. As an inventory manager, I am in charge of ordering and keeping track of products for the coffeehouse. Along with all of these responsibilities, I volunteer at the coffeehouse an average of 15 hours a week.

Summer and seasonal job when I am at home from school. I worked together with my co-workers to accomplish our daily goals of physically washing, drying, and clean cars while giving superb costumer service. After the summer was over, my boss invited me back to work while I was home from school on breaks
