My name is Carly Ross and I am a graduate of Chapman University in Orange County, CA. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, which spurred from my extensive experience of special needs with my older autistic sister. These experiences have become the forefront of my passions given that I truly was able to understand first-hand psychological processes. This influence has highly impacted my desired career direction given that psychology can capture the interworkings of behaviors, including explanations, descriptions, predictions, and effective alterations for improved life functioning.I am currently a Practice Coordinator for Dr. Danielle Wu, PsyD. Dr. Wu, PsyD specializes in neuropsychological testing for learning disabilities, mood and anxiety disorders for children. Within this position, I score input for various neuropsychological and psychoeducational tests, serve as a liaison between parents, teachers, and the psychologist, administer online behavior rating scales, and edit neuropsychological reports generated for patients of Dr. Wu.I am an incoming 2nd year Psy.D. student in clinical psychology, with a child and family therapy emphasis. First-year practicum placement at Oakland VA Behavioral Health Clinic, Second-year practicum placement at Sutter Alta Bates Herrick Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital (partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient unit).
